This biotin is the perfect strength. it’s a small pill making it easy to swallow. Since I started this 3 months ago, I definitely see a difference in hair loss so it’s effective. Yes I’ve bought the best supplements out there only allowed to be sold by physicians and still get this . It works just like the top names. It’s also tasteless before swallowing.

I'm a terrible nail biter, but for some reason fatter taking this, I just didn't feel like doing it as much anymore. It started making my nails grow much faster than they had before, even when I stopped biting, and it was really fantastic. Haven't seen much difference in my hair, but it's only been a few weeks. Great purchase.

After taking a strong medication for a few months, I noticed thst my hair was slowly thinning out. I always trust the quality of Swanson vitamins, as I take many supplements each day. Within a month of taking this Biotin, I started seeing new hair growth. I've been taking it for 8 months now and my hair has thickened noticeably.

Despite being gel caps these are very small thus so much easier to swallow than regular gel caps. And the quality is great, along with the price, and I noticed improvements within a week of starting. Swanson proved to be a good choice.

Biotin was recommended to me by my podiatrist who pronounced my toenails among the worse he'd ever seen. They were dry, porous, brittle, and very yellow. It took probably 6 months until my nails grew fully out from bad to good, but my toes now look "normal" and I can wear open toed shoes again. Added benefits include longer, stronger fingernails and thicker, fuller hair. My hair stylist noticed the difference and asked me whether I'd changed styling products. I hadn't, so it must have been the Biotin. I've also read in recent studies, Biotin has been shown to help diabetics control their blood sugar and ease the symptoms of diabetic neuropathy, so my husband has begun taking it too. If he sees improvement I'll be writing another review. Follow Up -- my husband did indeed see a small improvement in his blood sugar and neuropathy. However, he quit taking the Biotin because he claimed he couldn't keep up with trimming his nails more frequently and was grossed out by the excess hair growing out of his ears and nose.

I read dozens and dozens of reviews on biotin before actually purchasing this product. The reason for my purchase is because I wanted to grow out my hair - and based on my research, biotin seemed to do the trick. I take two 5,000mcg per day, and I have now been taking biotin for a little over 2 months. And honestly, it actually does work! My hair grows EXTREMELY SLOWLY. I am half african american, half filipino - with course, dry, curly hair. After the first month of taking 10,000mcg of biotin everyday, I saw results. It could've been because of the high dosage that I was taking but I'm pretty sure 5,000mcg would probably produce similar results as well. Now after taking it for 2 months, my hair has grown about 2 1/2 inches, which is CRAZYYY! I definitely do recommend taking biotin if it's for hair growing purposes. I didn't break out in any crazy, dramatic way. I have naturally sensitive, acne-prone skin already but taking biotin didn't worsen it at all. Just drink more water as a precaution though. With my nails, I've always had fast-growing nails so... I can't say that this product affected them at all. Overall, this is a great product for growing out your hair!
