These are tough discs. I do alot of auto body work and have used the "leadind brand" discs for years. I came across these while looking for a cheaper alternative, since the cost of those has continued to increase. Not only are these better quality, but I can get three times the use out of a single disc. Sure, they are made in China, but what can you say when the quality, durability, and value is better?

I thought this would be ashy to line up the holes and screw on. Not. My sander h as d smaller screw holes so getting the loop base was harder than I thought. Also, getting the screws all down to an evenness for sanding was hard too. All said and done., the loops did not hold as well as I thought it would but hoping I can wear down newness to workability.

Updated review: The pads seem to be good quality and worked well. At first I thought they did not include the 40 grit as advertised, which was the whole reason I bought this particular assortment (I mentioned this in my first review). Eventually I realized that the 40 grit was out of place from the others and inserted in the middle of the pack.

Just what I needed. I do scroll saw work and needed a way to sand small pieces for shaping, especially when doing intarsia designs. These pads fit perfectly onto a 3-M 5" disc sanding kit that I attach to my drill press. Changing the discs for various grit sizes is simple and effective. Highly recommend.

I tested briefly. They seemed to stay in place. I bought these with a 5" scrub pad set which included the drill attachment.These DO NOT have a drill attachment included. They are simply replacement sandpaper sheets.

These discs aren’t very aggressive and seem to load up with dust more quickly than all my other sanding discs. Not awful, but not particularly great either. Just ehh.....

Work great! My dad and I do alot of wood working on the lathe and these work perfect.

Used with sanding attachment for drill. Worked fine om curved surface. Next I need to try it on a flat surface
