Hadley-Roma Men's MSM907RA-200 20-mm Black Genuine Leather Watch Strap

Read a few reviews which suggested this was a navy blue or dark blue. It’s actually a normal shade that’s lighter than I was expecting. Get black if anyone’s considering the blue. It would go better with the plasticky shiny finish.The overall material looks good but it was a stiff on day 1 and months later, yet to break in.

I checked with the local watch shop and they did not have a navy 24mm replacement band for my Guess watch. So I took to Amazon to try and locate one. This was the only one in the 24mm size in navy and I quickly purchased. It arrived quickly and in good condition (or so I thought).My husband had no trouble removing the old band and getting this one ready. He first put on the section that is longer with the holes. It was a little difficult and a very tight fit. The other section took him almost an hour to put on and required him to cut a part of the band off where it attaches to the watch. The back of the band lining ends were not cut from the portion that the pins slip through and this made this side of the band quite a bit thicker than the other side. He actually had to put this side in a vice and smash it together to get it to be thin enough to siip on my watch.Yes I would have returned had I known it was going to take this much time and be this aggrevating. Bottom line is the band was not properly made but we didn't know that until well into trying to put it on the watch.

This is an absolute beauty of a leather strap. The quality is well above the asking price. The hand craftsmanship is clearly put into heavy consideration. The strap is a dark navy blue so even a conservative minimalist like myself would not mind stepping out of the typical black and brown straps for this one. There is a semi-gloss to it so it won't take away from your watch face; it will supplement it. The clasp is sturdy - no concerns there. I couldn't stop looking at it. An absolute gem. Since this strap did not match my watch dial's odd color, I had to return it. You have no idea how disappointed I am. In the future, if I buy a new piece that isn't so hard to find a strap for, I will definitely go back for this one or something like it but in a different color. Hadley Roma is quality stuff; they don't mess around. This would have been my third Hadley (I am a new watch collector).

I bought the Timex Perpetual Calendar watch with a non-flashy smooth black leather strap at a Timex outlet store called The Time Factory. This place should be renamed The Waste of Time Factory. When the strap holders on the original gave out, this store never had a replacement black leather strap size 22 even after several empty promises that it was to be restocked. The only straps available were the gaudy plastic ones that I used to wear with my Casio's and cheap calculator watches when I was eight years old. I couldn't find a suitable replacement strap anywhere I went! Finally, after over a year of having this watch in a drawer, I consulted Amazon. Replacement leather straps at retail stores usually run for slightly over ten dollars. I paid twenty for this strap and honestly I don't feel gypped. It takes about a week or so to break in the thick leather but the material and stitch seem durable enough to survive the usual grazings as I tend to swing my arms like a madman on my daily strolls. An added plus: the reptile print matches my black Puma Unlimited Hi EVO's.UPDATEFive months later, the freestanding loop that holds the strap together when the watch is buckled started coming apart--a glue problem. Before it lost its shape I managed to super glue it back together. The loop has held firm since.

Color and quality is good. Only problem is that the watch will not sit centered on my wrist unless the strap is tight, which I would prefer wearing it one notch looser, but then it flops to one side of my wrist or the other. Maybe it just needs to break in - I've only worn it 5 times. Also I have another Hadley-Roma strap that actually has the brand name on the strap - this only has "907" and "Genuine Leather" markings.

Nice watchband: attractive and well-defined grain pattern, in a dark blue color. Because of thee padding it is still a little stiff, but seems to be softening with wear, as expected. I have somewhat big wrists (but not huge ones), and it fits using the last hole. If you have larger wrists, you will probably want to find longer straps.

OK, this is a nice and strong leather band, but "in person" it looks a lot different from the picture. For one, it's (as the title says) much shinier. I would prefer it to actually be matte, but it's all right. It's also not navy blue as the picture shows, but a regular blue. My Elyssee watch has a blue dial, so it works fine with it. The 22-mm width is exact though, a rarity these days. Overall - very good, just different from the picture on amazon.

This thing transformed my Seiko 5 (this and a double dome sapphire purple AR coated crystal) into a classy dress watch. Really nicely made. I used it with this: iStrap Stainless Steel Butterfly Deployant Buckle Double Push Spring Watchband Clasp Color & Width (16mm 18mm and 20mm) It looks classy, is well made, fits this band perfectly. The only other thing I could do to this thing to make it better is ditch the movement and put in a NH36 but why bother.

I have been trying to find a leather strap for my Seiko Cocktail time, and honestly nothing comes close to the value this one brings. Yes, it is not the highest quality, but it does the job well.Pros: Good Color, decent print, and most importantly, very decent thickness to the strap. It's not just some thin leather strap.Cons: Did not come with a pin, and it does fade at bends.

It's a really classy band. Very dark Navy glossy blue. Plays with the light well, can look dark or visibly blue depending on the light. I would even put it on my Sarb033 black face watch you also see in the photos posted! Versatile given its dark color.

Good strap if you are looking for something to wear not often and for maybe 1 to 2 years. Its only a $20 strap, but the loop will tear and parts of the strap which are glued together come undone after about 2 years. I bought both the navy blue and dark brown straps. Might as well spend a little more money and get something that would last longer.

Quality blue straps are not that easy to come by. Hadley Roma makes good straps. This is leather with stamped gator print. Quality stitching and edge finish. Excellent value for the price. Highy recommended.
