CS-301 Classic Samurai Butterfly Twist to Open Double Edge Safety Razor With 5 Astra Superior Platinum Double Edge Safety Razor Blades

Same as the Misaki razor Razor which is made in Pakistan. Both the Classic Samurai and Misaki have names suggesting the product originates from Japan. This has "Japanese Quality" printed in crooked letters on five of six sides of the box, and the brand marked on one blade cover is also crooked. The butt of the handle has sharp edges, and the general fit and finish is not consistent with a product made in Japan.

This is a good razor as expected.

Yo-If nicks and razor burn are your thing - then this is the razor for you. If not - then I strongly suggest that you don't buy this one - or better still get a Feather and save yourself a buck or two and get a far superior shave!!I got this razor today and immediately loaded it with a Gillette Silver Blue blade and started to shave - this razor is very aggressive and actually has an angle that will hurt your face.This one is going back - period!!!UPDATE January 29, 2015 - Please note that the two reviews after mine do not show as "Verified Purchase" (Stuffing the ballot box maybe???)

I believe the angle on this razor may be off a little and once a holding tab popped off.Been practicing shaving with this one when I don't care about impressing anyone.Recommend using as little pressure as possible as I have once shaved off a layer of skin by accident with this one. . .

Very rough cut ! Butterfly concept does not work. One should buy a simple blade .

Oh boy, first one didn't open properly, second sended as replacement,very aggressive and coarse shaving. Somebody maybe looking for this features, but not me.I spent couple dollars more on Mehaz razor and having smooth nice shave. Sorry, but I can't try your top of the line, looking very nice razor yet.

Not sure you’d want a loosely held blade across your face but if you did then this would be the razor for you. I am uploading some photos of how the blade posts awkwardly.

Using this razor is like trying to shave with a dull knife.
