This product adheres well to the wall / cabinet, etc.
I have one of these on the cabinet in my kitchen for a dish towel. It hangs just below the sink top and is so handy. I have another one of these in my craftroom, just below my work surface--making these so handy!

Towel Grabbers that Grab!
I have been looking for something like this for my kitchen since we moved to our current home in 2011. The ones I had in our previous house were brushed nickel, but the same shape and although I'd bought those at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, they no longer carried them or any other similar type of towel grabber. I tried the one that fits over a cabinet door but not only did it not fit well, it marred the paint on the cabinet as well. I was glad to see these on Amazon, though I would have preferred brushed nickel. I've had them a couple of months so far and they work fine.Make sure you wipe the area you want to stick the grabber with isopropyl alcohol and then dry before attaching the grabber. Press firmly and wait a few minutes before inserting a towel. Just grab the middle of an edge of your dish towel and slide it in. To remove, just slide the towel up. These work fine for both terry and linen dish towels. I doubt I would ever use this type of holder in the bathroom because of the thickness of bathroom towels, but for a wash cloth it might work fine. Definitely a bargain, especially with Amazon's bundling of goods practice to cut down on shipping costs. I did buy two packs as they may break over years of use and I don't want to search all over the place to find more!

They work!
These are such nice holders for dish towels. They attached to the side of the cupboard, they are easy to use, and no one’s clothes will ever get caught by their hooks.

Life-savers!
These are an absolute life-saver in my kitchen! Installation was nothing (No, seriously. Take off the backing, hold it to the wall for ten seconds. My birth control patch takes more effort.), and they keep my lovely clean towels off of the counters and away from open flames. Even better, they are hanging right where I need them to dry my hands without wandering around looking for the towel that I just had in my hand, seriously where did that thing go? I have a set for the kitchen upstairs and the bar downstairs, and they are both wonderful.I use flour-sack towels, just because I prefer the texture. These are smaller than I thought they would be, but they work very well for that type of towel. A thicker terrycloth towel or rag might have trouble getting into the thin slot.

No Fridge Handle to Hang Your Towel?
I live in an apartment, and when my fridge broke, management replaced my fridge with one that did not have the traditional handles, which is where I hung my towel (now it's one with inset handles on the sides). This has worked out perfectly! I stuck it near the top left corner of the fridge door which is about where my towel would have hung on the other fridge. It has held tight for the several months I've had it and seems to be resilient enough to last years.******Update******* (8-17-2016)These did not stay stuck to my fridge, so I ended up removing the adhesive back and applying some adhesive craft magnet strips and it is working 100 times better. I think the key is to cover the entire surface with the magnet and it just doesn't budge. Perfectly stable and reliable which is what I was after. So, I recommend the purchase still, only with the preceding alterations.

Strong Adhesion With Proper Installation
I think this item gets a bad wrap because of the lack of instructions about how to mount the grabber. If you've worked with the 3M Command strips before, you know there are a few steps you have to take when attaching an adhesive hook to the wall. Unfortunately, the grabber doesn't come with sufficient instructions, which is why I sense some people are having trouble getting it to stick to the wall. It's important to first clean the area of the wall with rubbing alcohol or acetone (disclaimer: depending on the type of paint on your wall, this may take some color off, so you'll want to test in an inconspicuous place first). After the wall has dried, firmly press the grabber to the wall and let it sit for at least 3 hours before hanging a towel. I let mine sit for 24 hours just to be safe. Using this method, I've had my grabber up for several weeks of heavy use and that sucker is not going anywhere! Also, I use mine with a heavy dish towel that is more like a bathroom hand towel than a traditional kitchen towel. I wasn't sure the design was going to work well with a thicker towel, but it totally does and I like this thing so much better than the hook I had before.

Simply perfect!
I spent weeks looking for a towel bar that would fit inside the cabinet door below the kitchen sink. The sink is so deep that it hangs down low inside the cabinet, leaving very little space for hanging towels. This little towel grabber turned out to be the perfect solution. I stuck one on the inside of each of the two doors, and now I can hang both a dish towel and a hand towel out of sight. Due to clever design of these little doodads, the towels stay put better than they would have hanging from a bar.I like them so much I bought more of them, and when my daughter saw them, she got some too.

Reasonably happy.
Searched everywhere to replace a broken grabber. Found this one eventually. A bit pricey ,i thought, and a bit small but did the job. Good delivery and packing.

Simple and effective
The design makes it easy to hang your kitchen towel and so far the adhesive seems to be holding up. Small hand towels would also work, but large bath sheets will likely be too much fabric and weight for this bracket.
