Very secure
I have been using these bottles to put my medication in for the last few years, and they work great, they have most certainly served their purpose and I highly recommend. The idea is to keep people honest, but I recommend placing these bottles with your medication on them, in a safe as well, otherwise someone can just grab the whole bottle, like I said they are meant to keep people honest, but thievery still happens in this world.

Great we Deterrent - would recommend!
[+] Keeps other family members out of my Rx pain medication (a teen for obvious reasons, and husband who likes to take recreationally.)Although it’s not fool-proof (someone could BREAK it - it is just plastic so du!) it does seem a stronger plastic than an ordinary Rx bottle and has kept said members from sneaking some thinking I wouldn’t notice.[+] it holds an entire month supply easily and probably even a 90 day supply depending on the size of your pills.[+] I don’t think the lock code would be easy to “figure out” while turning the numbers each one will sort of clunk into position with no difference to the correct numbers falling in place.[-] It can be hard to remember a code you didn’t set - I remedied this by saving it in my phones notes app. Just make sure you scramble it each time you’re done!![+] The preset code makes it hard for others to figure out too![-] The numbers are hard to line up “just right” but that can help the deterrent factor. The rotating wheels are loose or tight - mine has 2 loose & 2 tight wheels. This doesn’t bother me but I can see how others refer to it being made of cheap place lock, but IT WORKS!!!I have recommended this to other friends/family that I know have medications to keep safe - from kids, teens, to other adults it’s perfect!! Definitely more secure than ordinary “child proof locks” and provides me with great peace of mind!!

Works great but larger than expected
Sure! Here’s a four-star review for a locking pill bottle on Amazon:⭐⭐⭐⭐Works Great but Larger Than ExpectedThis locking pill bottle works exactly as advertised and provides excellent security for my medications. The lock mechanism is easy to use and gives me peace of mind. However, the bottle is larger than I expected and doesn’t fit in my usual storage spots. It’s definitely not a standard pill bottle size, so keep that in mind if space is an issue for you. Overall, it’s a great product for securing medications, just be prepared for its larger size.

What an amazing safety product!
This bottle is amazing! Why wasn’t it invented 8 years ago when I really needed it to protect my mother’s oxycodone Rx?Pills started disappearing from the bottle that was kept on her kitchen counter with her other Rx. I suspected they were being stolen by one of her 9 caregivers. Obviously I could not tell my mom…Had to secretly install a $700 security system, with a ‘smoke detector’ camera, until I finally found the culprit – the condo’s maintenance man! A 'nice guy' I knew for almost 15 years! With an HD video of this guy’s third theft, I got him arrested and convicted of robbery, harming a senior, etc. Then the MD who prescribed the pills refused to provide replacement pills since he didn’t want to lose his license for over medicating my mom. My only alternative if she was in pain was to take her to the ER! What a horrible time!Never had time to remove the camera system that was 2,000 miles away from my home. Then another bunch of pills disappeared 6 months later. This time it was a visiting nurse who stole them! With yet another HD video of the theft in hand, I got her arrested and convicted. Plus I got the state of Florida to permanently pull her RN license! If I had these locking pill bottles, I would never have had even one pill disappear.Gonna now use them to protect my kids from potential misuse of my meds… Glad that SafeRx was invented!

Serves a purpose -until it doesn’t
I suspected my stepdaughter was pilfering my anti-anxiety meds. I had no concrete proof, but I knew I was missing pills. So I got this. It’s plastic. It’s not that sturdy. I could stomp on it with bare feet and I’m sure it would shatter into a million pieces. But there will be no more questions of missing pills. She’s either gonna have to steal the whole lock bottle or crack it open. Have fun convincing me that I “must have double dosed myself” when there’s bits of blue plastic everywhere or the whole bottle is just GONE.Now this works to deter a 19 year old who thought she could get a little loopy on my meds and I wouldn’t notice. She’s a troubled kid experimenting, not a hard core addict (yet anyway). It serves my purpose for now. If you are living with an addict who wants whatever meds you are trying to hide, get a safe. Preferably one made out of titanium or 6 inch steel. This plastic bottle will deter a casual user, but an addict will bust this thing open in a heartbeat.Other cons- you have to line up the combination just right to open it, kind of annoying.A potential con- comes with a pre-set combo on a sticker right on the bottle. If you happen to open it in front of the wrong person and they see the code...well now you are holding junk.On the other hand, I kind of like the code was picked for me because no one would EVER guess this code. Stupid humans.... we tend to pick 4 digit codes that people close to us can guess easily (birthdays etc). I burned the code into my brain and promptly destroyed that sticker. Don’t be dumb and forget the code or write it down where your resourceful pill popper can find it.Breaks my heart that I had to buy this thing. Prayers and hugs to all of you out there dealing with addiction.Update- deterrent at best. Step daughter grabbed it out of my hand, threw it to the floor and as predicted the container basically disintegrated from the force of a 19 year old 120lb girl. Pills all over the room. The only thing left intact was the cap. Just sad.
