So if you're looking for the wax like fabric, this skirt is not it. It is more of the silky shiny… you can tell this is truly not from the motherland. 😂 BUT…for a themed party, it will suffice, it is very pretty. I have some beautiful African fabrics but not enough time to have something made for a last minute affair I was invited to. I thought for some reason this was purple but it is like blue and pink. I am a size 20-22, 5’4” and I have a nice size derrière and some stomach ( SKIMS are a miracle worker). I haven’t worn it yet,just tried it on and it looks nice. If you are any heavier or fuller in the mid section or wider hips you may want to rethink this one. I am pairing it with a white fitted shirt, chunky necklace and heels.

It has elasticity, but only in the back. I was able to put on the skirt by putting it over my head.

I fell in love with the color but, when I received it. It was not what I saw in the photo. The material was shinny and silky.

Skirt is pretty but the material is a thick polyester. I think it would be too hot. There is a little area right in the center that sticks out that I didn't like much. Other than that it was pretty. Going to Africa and will be working where it is hot.

Bought as a gift. Soooo pretty! My mom loved it!
