I first ordered larger size knowing wetsuit sizing runs small and assumed sizing was Asian sizes but had to return because too large. Replacement product unavailable for 8 weeks but arrived in 6 weeks. Delay seems to be seasonal. I first ordered in January but quickly backordered seemingly due to Spring Break vacationers. In summer these were out of stock in most sizes for weeks so order asop. Vest is excellent product for the price! I purposely did not buy female vest as my experience is the form fitted female wetsuits are uncomfortable and poor fitting for anyone with B cup or higher and the shorter cut tends to roll up especially if you don’t have a flat stomach. By ordering the mens/unisex vest it is longer cut. It fits true to size for snug wetsuit fit. If you’re planning on swimming laps in cold pool/ ocean or paddle board you will want to size up on size so it’s a more loose fit. ( the greater the size: the arm hole generously increases but too large an arm hole and water pours in negating warming purpose). To prevent chafing consider sizing up: for snug wetsuit fit, purchase regular size.

Beautiful jacket, and feel like good quality. But too tight for me. I ordered medium according to the size chart (I'm 5'7", 160 lbs, waist 31, bust 39). But the medium vest was uncomfortably tight. May be I got one with a bad cut. Since it's still a beautiful and good quality vest, I'll give 5 stars. Just need to find one that fits you.

I am 6' 35 waist 41 chest, exactly "large' according to the chart.....nope, I would not be able to use this, way too tight and very difficult to zip...perhaps because of the ill fit. As others have mentioned..left handed zipper which is awkward. I'll never use it so can't comment on how well it works in the water.

I got this vest along with a pair of 1.5mm shorts for use in Florida during winter months. While my daughter is impervious to the cold water my ability to stay in the water with her is limited. The combination of the vest with shorts made the cool water bearable and our time together enjoyable. The zipper is solid with the right amount of neoprene material coverage to prevent skin irritation.Fit: I purchased a medium vest. The vest was a perfect fit around chest but was a bit loose around the waist. I am 5’4”, with 30” waist and 38” chest. I think that this would be ideal for someone with a 32-33” waist. To improve the fit and the vest’s insulation properties I had a tailor take in the waist area by 1” on each side - this made it snug and kept me warm.

Unfortunately for me, this didn't fit me very well. I am 200lbs, 5'10, with a 38 waist. I ordered a 2xl. The Chest was slightly tight, but the abdomen too loose, which allowed the vest to ride up once in the water. Perhaps it would work better worn under an outer layer or attachment to a pair of wet suit shorts which would prevent the riding up.

I get cold really quickly, especially when diving. So I used this in 80 degree water in Mexico, on top of a rash guard. Despite a serious thermocline one day 🥶I was always completely comfortable. Didn’t need my 3mm jacket at all, this vest was really perfect. I think it runs a bit small though. Fortunately I ordered a medium, cuz it fit perfectly. I am 5’4’, 125 lbs, with a normal sized torso. I would normally take a small. So a size up is probably a good idea. I highly recommend this product and it’s a great price.

XL fits fine - snug, as it should for best insulation from the cold. My specs: 6 foot, 200 lbs, 42" bust, 38" waist. The waist is a little loose but acceptable, I might sew it up to take up the slack for a perfect fit. Arm pits are fine, neck line a little tight but lower the zipper one inch fixes that. Nice quality zipper and materials throughout. Will use for ocean snorkeling. Very happy.

This product is a great deal. It is very solidly made. I tried it on dry and it looked like it fit great, i felt lucky. Then I got in the water and there was a lot of water sloshing around inside. Its still helps, but I think a wetsuit is just a very hard thing to buy on line without trying it on at a store. But it will probably be a lot more expensive at a store, and if you don't live near a dive store this is a good option for you.
