I was impressed with the quality of this item and it was easy to fit and route. The wires themselves are thicker than my original Optimate lead.

It’s streets ahead of the Oxford version I tried once. The optimate ones are just so much better quality and the block connector is fully waterproof in use when I use it to power my heated vest and when the cap is on. Simple connection to my optimate. Ducati want a fortune for their version that plugs into special connector. Don’t waste your money if you already have an optimate charger. Just fit this fly lead. Absolutely no problems on my Multistrada or any of my previous bikes.

Had used the Oxford cable twice before to attach my trickle charge to and when riding, my heated Keiss vest... both failed in a few months - the connectors bend inside so you can't slot in the fitting. The cables seem lightweight, and prone to breaking. This one is much better. It is sturdy, with solid connections. Very easy to fit and seems much more sturdy.

It takes a little time to connect these with each of the batteries on my motorcycles but well worth the time and effort, as Optimates protect batteries when ‘bikes (and cars) are not being used.
