Pay more and get higher quality. You are gonna have this a while.
Expected better quality. It is a cast iron skillet but the one that I received had terrible cast quality. There were huge depressions and voids on the flat side. Not something that would be worth the trouble. The smooth side on a cast iron should be flat. It's hard to tell in the picture but you can see the outlines of the depressions.
