Larger than expected, but still not huge.
Overall, it is a very nice shield for the eyes and upper part of the face. The snaps almost don't fit, I am probably going to have to get out the Dremel and sand the holes on each side out like a millimeter. Might not be the shields fault, might be the budget helmet. Works excellently no more watery eyes at highway speed. The snaps clipped on solid, even though they BARELY reached. The black visor was already on the helmet, it clipped on over the shield just fine,, though again, the holes on it may need widened a little as well to fit without excessive tension. The only complaint I have is not the shields fault. At highway speed the wind is just right, and lifts my mustache with enough force to pull up my upper lip if I completely relax it. But maybe that just means my beard and mustache need a trim. ;-).

It changed the looks and practicality of my helmet
When I first bought my motorcycle, the seller at the shop offered me a free helmet if I didn't delay any payment, so when I first received it it was this white pilot-looking open-face helmet that I grew fond of. I saw these here on Amazon and liked the fact that they have double-sided snaps on it, so I could snap them on the helmet and then snap the already-provided visor/sunshade that came with my helmet. Snapping it on my helmet proved no problems and I was enjoying this shield from immediately. They look very stilish though a little oversized, but that's fine with me. I still wear glasses or sunshades beneath the shield 'cause I found out that they don't shield wind completely, but then again, If not for my sunglasses, I had no other protection agains debree or insects to my face. I rated them 4 stars because they are not entirely protective and because of the wind-noise factor, but that doesn't bother me at all. I do recomend this shield and am also pleased with both, the looks and the practicality of having added this to my helmet. I may post photos soon.

Exactly what I want (almost)
This shorty shield is what I was looking for in a face shield. It does not cover my mouth so fogging in rain or cool weather should not be an issue. It fits over glasses or shade very easily and does not interfere with wearing on of the face coverings like some of the bubble shields or 5 snap full face shields. Unlike the ungainly flip up shields it seems to stay solidly connected to the helmet so the hassle of trying to adjust and reinstall the shield on a ride may be eliminated. I wish the shield was offered in a clear version. I sometimes ride in upper NY state and John law gets upset if you have any colored shield after dusk or in rain. The "Smoke" tint is so light it probably will not bother you but the police there can be unreasonable. I installed it on my Outlaw brand Open face helmet within a minute, but It took a little modification to the visor holes to mount the helmets visor over the shield. Not unexpected. Good value, excellent price and will protect your eyes better then Foster Grants.

Nice but some QC problems
I bought 2 of these shields, one smoke and one blue to use on my Outlaw carbon half helmet. The smoke shield had snaps that were too large to stay on the helmet and must be returned. The blue shield snaps on securely but the helmet visor would not snap over the visor snaps because the shield outer snaps for the helmet visor were too large. I called Echo in which they INFORMED me that they never heard of these problems before. HORSE HOCKEY PUCKS! I did replace the smoke shield with another which is OK that I like and I found an Echo visor that fit the blue shield. These shields give good ventilation to the face in warm weather which may be too cool in cold weather. Overall, this set up works well for me. So far I have not gotten dirt or dust in my eyes from the ventilation, but I can imagine how this could happen even though there is good protection from larger flying hard objects. I think Echo should try harder to use quality snaps that fit and fit tight. If they do then this is a very nice shield and a bargain. It should not be a hit or miss deal as it is now as shown by owner reviews.

Good product-needed some tweaking
Item arrived on time & is as pictured; a decent product out of the box, but has a couple of minor issues-the double snaps are good because they allow you to put a visor on over, but they rattle a bit, even at low speed; and the outer edges are unsupported so they tend to flap at high speeds; however, a couple of pieces of generic foam weatherstripping took care of both issues; shield works great now, good wind deflection even at high speeds, and excellent field of view-almost 180° (depending on your peripheral vision) the smoke tint is a bit light for full sun, but does allow you to transition from sun to cloudy & even to night without having to stop and remove or change it.

Little bulky to me.
Shied is good for what it is designed to do. Cosmetically, it was a little bulkier than what I care for. That's a personal preference and not intended to reflect badly of the product. It was actually lighter than expected but that was ok since I'm usually wearing shades anyway. I did notice it comes down a little further, more around my mouth instead of below my eyes. That can be different for each individual.

The view is good. The tint cuts down on the glare
I bought the light tinted one for night riding. I put it on my Bell 500 custom 3/4 helmet, then snapped a dark visor over that. The view is good. The tint cuts down on the glare, compared to my clear 5 snap shield. My peripheral vision is much better than with my goggles. The first ride gave me a rattle on the right side. Not knowing which of the 2 snaps was causing the problem, I bought 7\16 ID O-rings at Lowe's plumbing department and put them on every snap. Overkill, but the rattling noise is gone.It seems to still be snapped solidly with no chance of blowing off from behind my RK windshield.I think this shield was well worth the money. I just leave it on. It protects my expensive shades during the day, or I wear a different lid.💥
