**UPDATE 07/11/2025**I wanted to update my review and rating from 1 star to 5 stars. After some research, I discovered that Bariatric Pal has started putting a peppermint scented tab inside to reduce that vitamin smell inside the bottle and it works. I use a pill organizer to keep my supplements organized so I can easily tell if I remembered to take them.After sitting in the pill organizer overnight, the peppermint smell was gone and so was that typical vitamin smell. They literally have no smell which is awesome. Also, Bariatric Pal says you can continue to use the peppermint tab to freshen other things like closets, shoes, or anything that could use it after you run out of vitamins.The vitamins themselves are still the same, great capsules and ingredients we know and have worked so well. It’s a win win. If the peppermint smell or taste bother you, just put your vitamins in a sorter or pull one out a few hours before you plan to take it so it can “air out.”**Original Review**I’ve been taking these vitamins since September 2024 and have always thought they were great. My bloodwork has always been good since I started taking these. They have always been unflavored but I just opened my most recent order and lo and behold a very, very strong peppermint flavor has been added. It’s almost like someone accidentally poured peppermint oil into something along the line that these are produced on so now they’re very off putting because you burp up peppermint. I never had an issue with vitamin or iron burps with this brand which is why I’ve been using it over others, but now I can’t take these with my protein shakes in the mornings like I’ve always done because they cause my shake to taste bad due to the peppermint lingering in your mouth.If you’re allergic to peppermint, you should consider another vitamin because these don’t even list anything on their ingredients that indicate that anything peppermint related has been added.

Excellent product for those of us who have undergone bariatric surgery. It provides us with all the vitamins we need.

it was so strong with peppermint flavor that it was hard to take. even the plastic piece in there smelled. the cotton was yellow and smelled . i never had them like this. they need to go back to original not thisin

Mimi has been able to stay active and spend more time with the little ones because of her improved health. A few years ago she had bariactric surgery that really changed her life. She is now off all the medicine and she runs circles around everyone. She started taking these vitamins right after the surgery and many of these can get expenisve. We found this brand about a year ago and she has not missed a beat and it has reduced the cost by more than half.To be honest, we would pay whatever it cost if we knew this weight loss journey would give her the life she has now. The orginal higher price brand was acceptable but when we heard of this one we tried for a month, just to see. She likes the flavor and she had not noticed any issues with the change. Now she has more money for the little one.

Easy pills to take, not too big.

I've purchased these previously in a larger container. In this 30 day supply bottle, they have a small white bar that I'm sure is to help keep it dry but it smells of strong peppermint & makes the vitamins taste like mint. It's ok as long as you take with water but if you're not expecting it & take it with something that may not go with it, it definitely creates a strange taste!

Despite the other reviews about the mint, I came to say how good & refreshing the mint scent is! Compared to the smell of some of the other vitamins I have tried, it is a pleasant surprise!
