1-1/2" C360 Brass Round Rod 6" Long +.07"/-0 Solid 1.50" Diameter H02 Lathe Bar Stock

I bought this bar to make some parts for a brass cannon I turned it on my lathe. The parts turned out great. I would buy again.

I got what I paid for. I'm very pleased.

I have ordered from Stoner Metals before and was always pleased with the product they supplied. In this case, I needed a 1.5" diameter piece of brass for a machining project, and this one met my needs. When it arrived and I unpacked it, I was quite surprised. The packaging was excellent, and consisted of two boxes inside each other with heavy-duty packing peanuts in all the right places. Whoever does their packing knows what they are about. The brass was exactly to spec. I have never noticed on previous Stoner Metal orders, but the cut edges were even deburred. I will continue to buy from them whenever they can fulfil my needs. I suggest that you consider giving them a try in the future.

This is a very nice look 6" rod of 1 1/2 inch brass. I have not yet been able to use it as I have not yet been able to find a metal melting forge that was hot enough to melt brass.
