Nice Light, Great Price, Backed-Up with an Iron-Clad Warranty.
I purchased these 6 bulbs in November of 2014 to use in three outdoor fixtures (two per fixture). We leave the fixtures on from dusk till dawn so regular bulbs burnt out quickly and were expensive to power. While these bulbs were expensive, the numbers worked out so that I'd save money and recoup the cost in less than 6 months. I was concerned about the life of the bulbs but I placed the order anyway. I was very happy when they arrived and worked great. Yes, the light casts upward and out, but the glass fixtures they are in reflect much of the light downward. Last night, I noticed one of the bulbs was not working so I put it in another socket to check if it was the socket or the bulb...still didn't work. I was quite disappointed until I realized today that they came with a three year warranty. I called Triangle customer service and told them the issue. They quickly asked me for my Amazon order number, which I gave them. He had the order in the system and told me they would be sending a free replacement out to me right away! That is amazing customer service if you ask me. Highly recommend!

great bulbs, may help save your home from a major power surge
These are great bulbs with an exception...I bought these as a "like new" warehouse deal, when they arrived, two bulbs had broken(it was boxed with 3salt grinders that im sure played a part in their demise), so I received a box full of glass shards(FUN!!). A third bulb was dead on arrival, was this like this when it left Amazon or was its trip to my house a factor? I will never know.Amazon was great about handling the problem, as always. As for the 3 remaining bulbs, they are great bulbs, they "spread" more light than most LEDs that weve tried(many project up only and become like spot lights on the ceiling), these do just fine in our fixture that has little lamp shades on each bulb(so theyre more likely to project upward), have a great light color-the room looks great(not a harsh light like many LEDs), and we love how little energy they pull!!The less energy thing is much bigger than just a lower elec bill, we had a major power surge in our home last April, taking out $40k+ in items(appliances, tvs, electronics, computers, you name it, power protectors are useless with this type of event...and we were the lucky ones, the same night two other neighborhood homes burned down-we had arching behind several appliances, but thank God nothing ignited!!). It was recommended that we switch to LED bulbs in our home to pull less electric to help avoid future problems. I am not an elec engineer or electrician, but that our electrician recommended them and the elec engineer hubby works with agreed(hubby is materials eng) was good enough for us). We live in a 6yr old golf course home in an established(25yr old) upper middle class subdivision(the mayor, several large business owners, hockey team owner all share our locale), who wudda thunk it? This is apparently is becoming a common issue as we utilize more and more electronics in our homes and subsequently pull more power than our homes/neighborhood transformers were designed to handle. We have tried many brands of LEDs and these are by far our favorite(as long as we can get them to arrive in one piece).

Great bulbs. I replaced all the 60 Watt bulbs ...
Great bulbs. I replaced all the 60 Watt bulbs in my apartment with Cree's 60 Watt replacement, but I still needed something to replace the candelabra bulbs in my ceiling fans. Tried out a pack of these, and I'm quite impressed. The color is not too cool, not to hot, it's all Goldilocks. The bulbs are quite bright, which has been a challenge with other candelabra LEDs. The only drawback is that they're not dimmable, but that's clearly stated, so no reason to buy these if you need dimmable.

Relatively inexpensive, solid performing candelabra bulb
Great looking LED candelabra bulb for a decent price. Large black company logo on the base does detract from the overall look a bit. But it is a bulb, turn it on and it lights up. Color hue is toward the warmer (yellower) end of the spectrum it seems. Can't speak for the longevity of the bulbs as I've only had them for about a week. No issues or complaints so far.

Fairly Described - But Short Lived - LED Bulbs
These arrived safely. I was initially hesitant as my previous experience with LED bulbs was that they were pretty much a very expensive joke. These are different. Instead of a dim, dim, dim bulb these are bright and at a good color temperature similar to that of a 100W incandescent bulb. There is no time lag as in CF bulbs, and the plastic of the bulb is curiously engineered. There is a conical deflector which deflects most of the light to the sides. But the upper tip of the bulb is not just ineffectual plastic. The refractive index of the plastic upper part is matched to deliver a significant amount of light in a dispersive manner over a wide area. At many angles, the entire tip area will "glow" indicating that light is being emitted from it. Never seen anything like it. In all, good light distribution, though it is all deflected from the tip direction. Only question is: how long will these things REALLY last? Too often with products made in China device life is significantly shorter than claimed. They do, however, appear to have the claimed 400 lumen output and are significantly brighter than CF or 40W incandescents. Do not know whom to contact if there is an early product failure. Addendum: At about 20 hours of use, first failure. Just blinked out. The "hours" in the rating is, as I feared, largely fictitious. I expect that the rest may last 40, perhaps even 60 hours - shorter than the incandescent bulbs that you can get at the Dollar Store, where I will be buying my replacements from now on.
