neon Small Stereo Systems with Wooden Speakers, CD Stereo Player with Bluetooth USB FM Radio Function, with Remote Control, for Home Audio Music Sound System

I was a little leery of an "unknown" brand at first. I wanted a micro stereo for my spare bedroom/office that would play FM radio, CDs, and be able to use the Bluetooth to play with occasional DVDs on my Apple laptop. This little unit fits the bill perfectly. I still use a Carver 200-watt pre-amp and amp with big Bose speakers (from the early '80's) in my living room, so I know what good stereo should sound like. The Neon micro stereo sound is surprisingly good for such a small unit! The ONLY reason I gave it 4-Stars is because of the speakers. They are wired internally and the wires themselves are very thin and short, which doesn't allow for much stereo separation. I solved this problem by adding a set of small Polk Audio bookshelf speakers and 14-gauge speaker wire. With the speakers separated, it really sounds like a much larger stereo system. However, the included speakers will work for most buyers if you're not a finicky as I am.

Ok it has been just 13 months and the player will no longer read a CD. No, I did not opt for an extended warranty and perhaps I should have. What I know is that I would expect much more than a year's use from it. Neon is not a well known brand. Now I know why. Very disappointed!UPDATE: Even though my purchase was made a little more than a year before the unit went bad, I did contact the seller and they sent me a newer model at no charge. I Like the newer features and remote. I am confident that the CD player will last much longer that before. Awesome customer support!!!

I bought this system to replace another that was unsatisfactory. At first I wasn't sure about its quality, but when I contacted the seller I got instant support and help to solve the problem. Now (after 2 months) it works perfectly and I am very pleased with the quality of sound, the solid construction, and its overall appearance on my desk. I recommend this product and the seller.

I have had other stereo systems with a similar wattage that sound louder and better quality.

I bought this about a month ago, just came back on to buy another for workout room.........did I REALLY pay that much?!?!?!....wow, I am not at all disappointed with this little unit. Excellent sound, reception ( I live in the sticks) , speakers remote etc. I highly recommend this unit if you are in a small place, and want some big sound. I easily added two extra speakers to the existing snap jacks in the back.....yea, I still run wires.....Bluetooth on this is sporadic, need your device near, closer that 40 feet, that's where I lose it. Now that I have given a favorable review it'll probably go to Sh*t in the next half hour.

Just perfect for our needs. Really good sound for its size. Too bad there's not a headset jack on the unit. Overall, it's well made.

My daughter got this as a Christmas present and is really impressed. She will be going to college in fall and needed a stereo that was small enough for dorm room. The blue tooth feature really stole the show-she can sit in her bed with her smart phone or the remote and change music selections! Clear sound and ample volume for her room- don't want it too loud. You know how parents are!

Very disappointed this does not work with PC Bluetooth as claimed. Connects with iPhone but not laptop PC Bluetooth, which I had planned to use for classroom. Would return but already disposed of boxes.
