These are sturdy and nicely finished. I think they are worth the extra cost over cheaper alternatives.

You know when you want to put a curtain rod between two walls, but want to be able to remove the rod without unscrewing the brackets? If so, this is the chap you need.Cut the 25cm-wide curtain rod to be about 6cm shorter than the gap between the walls. You can slide one end in to one bracket, pull it back 3cms into the other bracket then tighten the fixing screws. Rod stays firmly in place. Reverse the above to remove it. If you position the brackets so that the tightening screws point upwards, you can use them to hold the end curtain-rings in place.
