Wish I had bought sooner!
I have terrible vision (-7.5 contacts and 8.25/8.5 glasses) so swimming has been a struggle since using contacts isn’t recommended (or cheap if you use disposable lenses like me). I had prescription goggles as a kid for swim team, but vaguely remembered they were expensive so I was very happily surprised to learn how affordable these were. I got the -8 which is closer to my glasses prescription (appropriate my optometrist pointed out since they sit out from your eye like glasses rather than contacts which sit on your eye) and I’ve worn them multiple times and love them. Visibility is great and fit is perfect (as expected from the vanquisher model). Sprint don’t tread water (🙃) to get these goggles if you have bad vision and like to swim. My only regret is not getting these sooner!

Our favorite optical goggles
Theses are the nicest optical goggles for the money. The fit is like the classic non optical speedos. We've tried 4 other brands and keep coming back to these. We use them for competitive swimming. Only wish is that they came in higher prescriptions, they aren't available high enough but we make them work.

Great goggles for people with bad vision.
I have horrible vision. These goggles make it so I can see while swimming. I do masters swimming and with these I can see the workouts written on the board.

Works well for my now 11 year old son and I can interchange lenses if different grade
My now 11 year old son is a competitive swimmer and has been using Speedo optical lenses for several years now. Unfortunately his left and right eye have different grades. Thankfully it is easy to detach these speedo and snap them together. So far so good in longevity and my son doesn't complain much about leakage. The price isn't too bad either and I try to snap these up when they go on sale. I would definitely recommend Speedo goggles.

To the sight impaired swimmer, Beware
As a sight impaired swimmer the smoke coating will limit the sight distance. Typically, the corrected lens aren't colorized for that very reason. I use these with caution as my degraded sight is lessened still by the smoke coating. Otherwise they are fine. I only use them only at my home pool where I "know" the wall. Open water swimming was a fright with these. These would be ok for age grouper practice where sun is an issue. Kiefer brand corrective goggles are better for the adult with it's non-colorized lens. TYR is larger framed and not suited for smaller faces. Also Note that UV is still a concern with most corrective goggles on the market. Make sure you flush with cold water after every use. Spit brand anti fog is also recommended as most corrective goggles aren't true anti fog lens. That too effects lens quality for sight distance-- bus so does the fogging effect.

Nose strap adjustment is difficult
Overall, it’s pretty good quality and the goggles are very clear. The only complaint I have is with the nose strap. Instead of a flexible strap, it comes with 3 or 4 different size rigid ones. The default one was a bit too big for me, so I had to replace it with one size smaller version. It took quite a bit of an effort of pulling and shoving to remove it. Quite stressful to make sure I didn’t break anything. Why did they feel the need to use rigid nose straps?

I can see!
I love swimming but always wore my glasses in the pool, had to keep my head above the water. Tried these for the first time today and it’s amazing! My prescription is -8.75 so I got the -8 goggles. Works perfectly! I could clearly see the bottom of the pool (gross!), read the clock, and duck my head below water. Should have bought these years ago but always thought prescription goggles would be expensive, $30 is a great price.

Wrong prescription strength
I needed +4 and they sent a -4 so they were useless for me so I wasn’t able to go swimming with the kids again this year, not happy about that

I can finally see under water
i have minus 9 eyesight. The strongest prescription i can get for the goggles is minus 8. However that is sufficient for me to see under water.I'm happy with the product especially for this price. Highly recommended.

Excellent product my second pair
Great to be able to see while swimming in a lake just to enjoy the fresh air. Good fit quality product. Had another pair for 3 years but lost them. No deterioration in quality just rinse them when done especially after the pool. They lose their anti fogging but I have an anti filog wipe which does the trick and or spit and swish.

Highly recommend
Transformative for open water swimming as I have terrible eyesight - 8.5 and -6.5. Ordered -8 to be on the safe side and they are working really well, even in the -6.5 eye
