Opened and tossed it out
I would be very surprised if the metal is actually stainless steel. The rim, most certainly is not. I’m sure this strainer will be useful for many, but not in my kitchen. Cheap. Made in China. (Note - returning item would not have made sense, given the low cost and the potential of another item going to a land fill). I pledge to make more informed purchasing choices in the future. Thank you, Amazon for having so many product choices!

Holder
Quality is real good . However in a long term use, I realised that if there is a holder on the side, I can leave the frying thing and do another work. Now I have to hold it and stand there all the way till everythig in there is fried.

I don't like of the fact that this product comes from China. It doesn't say in the listing where it is made in. I just washed with soap and realized the stainless steel material has a weird smell, like a dead fish. I am not so sure it is normal or defective. I think I am gonna return it back

Big time straining!
I use this in bigger cook projects at home. Large enough for bigger jobs handheld enough to keep in a large drawer.

Watch for slivers
The handle is not a smooth finished wood. It works great for the price but it would have been nice if the handle was sanded and clear coated.

Get something equal but smaller, this size is too much for a restaurant.loving frenchmen.
