Great product and excellent customer service
I purchased this bike shelf a while ago but didn’t get a chance to install it until recently. When I finally did, I realized it unfortunately doesn’t fit my car — entirely my own oversight. The product itself is solidly built and well-designed, with clear and easy-to-follow instructions. When I reached out to customer service, they responded immediately and were incredibly helpful. They worked with me through the process and eventually issued a refund, even though the issue wasn’t their fault. I truly appreciate the outstanding service and professionalism. If this product fits your car, I believe you’ll be very happy with it!

Easy To Assemble Rack! No Wobble With Included Bracket!
Being retired, I needed something very easy to manage, and flexible enough to allow me to easily get in and out of my SUV rear liftgate. I purchased the three bike rack in order to transport two larger beach cruiser bikes with a space in the middle. It took me 15 minutes to assemble and install on my Jeep. There are several reviews complaining about "the wobble". Here's the solution: the manufacturer has included a FREE special u-bolt and bracket. Looking at some of the photos, people have just installed it incorrectly, so it's not taken care of their problem. I've attached a photo of where it goes, and it is solid as a rock when you tighten it up - NO WOBBLE! You might think that bracket will make it hard to take on and off your vehicle, but if you just throw a $5 wrench (17mm or 11/16") in the back of your vehicle, simply loosening the two nuts slightly allows the bracket to slide off with the bike rack when you remove it from your trailer hitch. In fact, the included bracket, when installed per the photo, is a great theft deterrent. Overall it's great rack. The fold down capability to be able to open your rear gate allows you to keep the rack on 24/7, even with bikes on it. Buy this bike rack, for sure, and if you put some wax on it when you wax your vehicle, it will last a long time!

Overall, it's fine. Arrived rusty, but was replaced. It wobbles and rattles a bit.
Good enough. The first kit I got was rusty. The interior of all three square-tube pieces were rusty. Only the mounting hardware and "stabilization plate" were fine. The seller sent me a replacement kit, which was rust free. It has pretty loose tolerances, and wobbles a fair bit from side to side. The "stabilization plate" helps, by clamping onto the bottom lip of the receiver. I added thick paint to both the hitch end of the tube, and both surfaces of the rack's own separation point, and that tightened it up a bit. It still sways a bit, and occasionally rattles when driving over bumps. Once installed, putting the bikes on here is pretty easy. The holders on each fork (to hold the bike frame) seem a little cheap, but good enough for now. The plastic base tents to deform a bit with a heavy bike, but they haven't broken. The rubber strap which goes over the top of the bike frame, is a little tough to secure onto the button-thing. However, it is doable. I don't quite trust it enough, so I add a ratchet strap of my own. It may or may not be possible to carry 4 bikes. If done carefully, you probably could. You can definitely fit 3.

Excellent product value
I was looking for an affordable hitch mounted bike rack for my wife. This was one of the few products I could find anywhere near $100. It arrived quickly, was super easy to assemble and install. I am please with the heavy duty construction of it as well as the thick layer of powder coating. I saw someone had complained about the straps being dry rotted. Mine were in very good condition with no issues at all. I mounted this on a Chevy Colorado and with the rack tilted out there is plenty of room to drop the tailgate. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a basic, affordable bike rack. It is very sturdy and after installing the anti-wobble stabilizer it is very solid and doesn't wiggle at all.

Excellent.
As a family with two bikes, we are always in need of a reliable frame to facilitate our travels. This frame has a very stylish design. Made of high quality anodized aircraft grade aluminum alloy and reinforced steel, in addition, all parts of the frame are finely machined without burrs or imperfections, making it very smooth to use. It can firmly support the weight of the bike. I think it is very durable. It solves our problem perfectly. I have used this frame and so far everything has gone smoothly without any problems. This is an excellent frame. I will recommend it to my friends.

Damaged my car, my bike, and risked the safety of others on the road!
AVOID ON THE HIGHWAY!! Those who want a quick Summary: the mounts that hold the bike onto the rack turn into smush when the sun hits them for 2 days, and the straps pop off easily. The bike will unmount and hit your car, or fly off (thankfully I only ended up with a few deep scratches on my car paint and glass, versus the rear window breaking completely. The whole story: I had to do a 3.5 hour drive to make it to a meet up and my goodness this has got to be one of the most stressful drives I’ve ever done. (I’ve driven with a stuttering engine before but driving with this rack was way worse!). It was fine within the city at low speeds but as soon as the sun came out, and I went on the highway at 70mph…oh my goodness…ITS SO BAD!! The bike immediately came off and when I went to go and check, the mounts were just mush! They had gotten so soft in the sun that no matter how many times I try to put the bike back in place, the Mount would just get squashed and deformed under the weight of my bike (my bike weights less than 20lbs). First time bike slid off because mounts just flattened and I ended up with scratches on my cars rear window (photos coming soon) Second time bike slid off because the mounts flattened and the straps were the only thing keeping the bike from flying off….this time I ended up with DEEP scratches in the paint of my car. Third time the bike came off because the straps snapped off. My U-Lock Cable was the only thing ensuring the bike didn’t fly off into traffic. Fourth time the bike came off because the mount was mush again, some heavy braking slid the bike back onto the mount though. All this happened within a 3.5 hour drive. But! The first 1.5 hours the bike was fine, it was the last 2 hours where all of those events above happened. Plus, this was all on butter-smooth florida highways. I was so happy to arrive at my location. The very first thing I did was go to a sporting goods store and buy a Thule bike rack for the drive back (no I can’t afford a Thule so despite being against using credit cards for loans, I’m using my credit line to buy a Thule just for the drive back). I simply cannot risk damaging my car, my bike, or worse, the safety of other drivers on the road. Yes I’m returning this. No I would never recommend this to a friend. Trying to save ~$100 I ended up having the following damage done: Car paint: $50 for touch up paint plus clear coat Scratches on the window: $200 for a new rear window DEEP Scratches on my bike: idk how much this will cost to fix, but definitely ruined the finish on my bike. Other than that major issue, the locking pin jams under the weight of a bike so folding the bike in order to access your trunk will get annoying really fast.

Awkward to use, but does work
I ordered this bike rack extension specifically for a long road trip (1500+ miles) where camping and off-roading would be part of a long week of travel. Let me start off with the positives: 1. The rack works and can accommodate 3 bicycles IF one of them is smaller. We had 2 adult bikes and one kid's bike and I was able to arrange them on the supports to get them all to fit. 2. Strong support over a LONG road trip. The three bikes were held pretty securely, with very little bouncing or movement. However, I added extra bungee straps to tighten the bikes together and prevent the handlebars from turning during the drive. I would recommend using extra straps. The built-in rubber straps do work, but I'll cover them in the Cons. 3. The entire fold-down system does work and allows the racked bikes to be moved far enough down to open a hatch on my Toyota Sienna minivan if there is no ground slop (flat/level ground). If there is any slope or uneven ground, the position of the bikes may have to be adjusted to open the hatch beyond the handlebars, depending on how you attached them. 4. The supplied bracing/anti-jiggle plate part works as advertised if installed and secured tightly, greatly reducing the movement and vibrations. I HIGHLY recommend performing this extra step. Cons: 1. The adjustment clasps for holding the bikes are difficult to secure with an Alen wrench, and even after tightening securely, still moved during the long drive. Several clasps were in completely different rotations upon arrival. 2. The supplied leather straps to bind the bikes to the six clasps worked, but you cannot use them too tightly. During the trip multiple straps stretched, elongating the holes and allowing one of them to come undone. This was a long road trip, so shorter ones may not have the same problem. However, I'd recommend only using the second tight notch and using additional securing from other cords. 3. The lift-down system is awkward and difficult to use when the rack is loaded. The shaft is held in place by metal pins through holes, which have to be pulled out to lower the rack away from the back of the vehicle. Unfortunately, the holes are not perfectly aligned, and any weight put onto the rack pins the metal pin into place. You have to lift up on the rack to remove the pin to lower the shaft from the vehicle, which is difficult to do when it's loaded with 3 bikes. It was awkward to both remove and reinsert the pin because of this, making access to the back o the vehicle undesirable. 4. The binding/anti-giggle plate is finicky and does not stay installed. Because of the low draw of the Sienna minivan, the bracing plate is only about 6 inches off the ground. As a result, any bump, ramp, or uneven ground will cause the bolts of the plate to scrape and the entire locking plate comes loose. We had to re-tighten the plate multiple times and at least once at nearly rest stop due to rough roads and bouncing. This will probably be different for vehicles with higher raised hitches.

Not compatible with my 2017 Tundra.
On the Toyota Tundra 2007-2021 there is a “flange” just past its receiver opening that interferes with the pin, and thereby won’t allow the post to lock in. I hope this helps you understand the Tundras receiver pin restriction. I wish it wasn’t able to hook up your bike rack. It was my favorite choice, very nice collapsible rack, light and great to be able to “roll” it into place. Ingenious.
