I like the colour of the light emitted. Not too intense. It was smaller than expected but that suits me well.

I’ve been looking high and low for a bedside lamp and just couldn’t find what I had envisioned. Then I came across this and I am beyond pleased with it. I’m now also going to be buying one for my daughters nursery.At first I was skeptical to buy it as I was being super picky. Some photos show a black base (which I didn’t want) so I wasn’t sure what I was going to receive. However it said oak base and that’s what I got. The quality of the shade itself is perfect and lets off a nice warm glow, it also goes well with my linen ceiling lamps from John Lewis.I was impressed with the packaging of the product and the way everything was so neatly packed inside the lamp to prevent any damage.Extremely sturdy but not heavy at all.Only downfall which isn’t really a downfall is that you have to buy a bulb. I’m glad I read reviews first otherwise I would have been gutted to have not been able to use it straight away.5* from me for the lamp xo

I brought this lamp as a simple up-to-date replacement to my old deskside lamp that had an old mini-bayonet style fitting (that is hard to find decent bulbs for these days). This lamp has a standard size screw-fit socket.I like it very much, it looks just like the photo, basic but elegant design and it works very nicely with the colour changing LED bulb I put in it. Even the wife loves it (considering I didn't consult her before purchase, that's a result).Therefore, five out of five and would buy again!

Nice small lamp.It came very well packaged & the lead, plug etc were very tightly contained within the shade. Because of this I did not find it immediately easy to assemble as not obvious (to me!) what to unscrew & how to release the lead, plug etc. It looks OK though! Have not yet got a bulb for it.

Good quality and value for money, nice ambience light not to bright or too dull. Very happy with this purchase

Really like this lamp. We purchased it along with the 806 Lumen bulb that shows in the 'frequently bought together' tab, and that, along with the hessian coloured shade give a lovely warm and cozy light. When assembled the lamp stands just over twelve inches tall and is of a simple, modern design which suits our space perfectly. The in-line switch is, as mentioned in other reviews, probably a little too far from the lamp, but, as we have ours connected to a smart plug controlled by Alexa, this is no problem whatsoever - I would definitely recommend.

I wanted a nice unfussy little lamp for a small table on the upstairs landing and this one does the job very nicely.It's well made from decent looking materials, is sturdy and stable and nicely sized for my small landing. I've fitted a hive bulb in it and it works perfectly. Very pleased indeed!
