How many small marine fish can be kept in here? Any advice most welcome

None - a marine tank requires far more than this product offers such as sumps, UV filters etc - this would not be suitable as it's too small. A marine tank needs to have far superior filtration than this product & water stability. A 10ltr tank would not provide the stability that they would need to survive regarding bacteria & temperature. Even the temperature of your house would affect the temperature of the water in a tank this size & even a few degrees variance would be enough to distress or kill Marine fish. A Marine tank needs to be ideally a minimum of 100 litres upwards if you don't want to be spending £100's on fish every week when they keep dying - and if you have that much money to throw around then you can provide better than this for a Marine setup. If you want to keep marine fish do your research - don't buy a 10ltr cheap tank like this, as Marine fish need specialist care. This tank is barely big enough for cold-water fish let alone marine.

I have looked at picture some of you have put on and the pump in them is not under the water the water level is below where the water flows from

The pump/filter is housed inside the white cylinder as are the lights. The out flow is at the top of the cylinder just below where it sticks out over the tank (this is where the lights are). Hope this helps. It is a nice tank but small and only suitable for certain fish.

Can recommend a good heater to go with this tank?

I have the 20w slimline heater from aqua one. Any 10w heater would be fine. You can put the slimline heater next to the filter and due to the curvature of the tank it’s completely invisible. I do not recommend putting the heater in the filter compartment as the filtration using those slides it’s pants . I would use that space in the filter for Seachem Matrix or other small porus filter media. I use the one slide as a divider ripped off the floss etc so it’s just the plastic then I keep the one slide closest to the output as is replacing it every month for fine filtration and carbon. This will make the filter 200x for effective.

What are the measurements?

the aquarium has the shape of a cylinder and the measures are: 25cms high, 25cms wide and 25cms deep.

Great tank

Ordered the tank and set it up, next morning the filter stopped working, amazon sorted out the problem and sent me a new tank next day and had to send the old one back. Although i had a problem with the first tank the new one is working properly and no problems. Great tank and fish and shrimps and loach love it. It has 4 colour LED lights, my favorite is the blue as it looks fab with the neon accessories. I've had many comments on this tank where people really like it. It's easy to set up. If you've chosen sand let it settle over night as it looks foggy once in, but it settles and looks fab after a night.

Good little tank! Do not put goldfish in there!

Really great small desk tank for my shrimp and guppies! They are thriving. Tank is very quiet and filter seems really good and it looks very stylish. The lights are nice and bright with different colours. Side note, please do not put goldfish in this tank. It’s far too small for goldfish. Google nano fish such as guppies or tetras.

Filter broke

This was a fantastic fish tank and I would have given 5 stars. Love the look, lights, easy to clean etc. but like others, the filter just stopped after 11 months. Can’t figure out how to use the warranty so I have to buy another otherwise my fish will die!

Suitable for a Betta with care…

The product is a showstopper. Looks good and the plastic is good. Built for light loads. Noise is very quiet. Which is good as. Very good value for money. I bought it for a Betta. It’s just suffices with compromises Very light feeding to Betta. I’ve switched from plastic plants to live plants as I want to control the nitrate more naturally. Pictures of attached of low light plants. The led is very weak so hence the caution. I added extra filter sponge by the return to slow the flow right down. Also I added a Fluval heater and some extra filter sponge in back chamber. The shrimp are doing well and the nerite snails are doing their job. But I do weekly 5ltr water changes to control the nitrate. I hope the plants make this job easier.

Excellent aquarium minimum maintenance easy to maintain with a few adjustments had this for 2 month top up water and clean acrylic/ glass every 2 wks no probs so far filter works fine been keeping fish for 20+years 12 month later fish in the video were 1 centimetre at the start everything is working fine (update) the pump has stopped working after just over 13 months lucky I have another filter system which I have adapted to fit the main body is now just a light a replacement body is £39.95 witch is nierly as much as a new tank (despite being maintained regularly)

Great but..

This product looks amazing filter sound super quiet and is spacious enough for one goldfish. I own another 130L tank and this fish was bullying the others so had to be separated so this tank is a completely good home for it. My only downside of this amazing tank is that it’s not glass and it would be a much better quality if it was. And secondly sometimes the filter does make weird noises like it’s clogged up and sometimes just automatically shuts off which I’m not sure why.. I’ve only had the tank for over a week and I will keep an eye and update accordingly

Retirement home for our platy!

I love this tank. Really reasonably priced for what you get. Well lit, built in filter and 360 viewing. No corners so should be easier to clean than previous rectangle tank. Very quiet, robust and looks so good. I love to watch it. Pretty feature and our wee 5 year old platy seems to enjoy his new home.

Good value and size tank, seems sturdy, only had a week but the filter seems good and quiet so far, perfect size for a few tiny fish as a starter tank for my fish mad little boy. He loves that he can feed them from the gap at the top and change the lights
