This is exactly what we were looking for. It fits all but our largest fry pans. It lets the steam out through the vents. VERY easy to clean. It is make well and look forward to many, many years of use. Buy it!

This lid works really well for those pots or pans that didn't come with a lid. We use it mostly for steaming things in the frying pans and its versatile size works great. It is a good weight of stainless steel as well.

This is a very good cover to keep on hand. It's not bulky when storing and can easily fit inside the dishwasher. The small vents that are interspersed throughout help keep the moisture from building up. It would get 5 stars if it were 12" across. Being smaller, the lid rests on the inside edge of my 12" skillet vs. resting on the top edge. Still okay, but an extra 1/2 inch would be better. It's perfect for my smaller skillets.

I ordered two of these covers and both came in damaged. One was missing the top handle and the other one was broken. The box was not damaged, so that tells me they were packed and shipped this way.

Just perfect: Ingeniously designed no-splash vent holes, solid stainless steel, lightweight, and many rings to stay on various sizes of pans.

We bought this stainless steel fry pan cover to replace a lost cover and it works fine. What's not to like?

Nothing else compares to this splatter guard. It keeps the stove clean and lets the steam out.

This is a piece of s***e. To be quite honest. Its obviously made in ... ( who the F.#^ knows ) but some of my friends with standard heavy equipment could turn out something better than this.I love that the name included 'France' that suckered me in! - in my Humble opinion.Its construction is akin to melding three sheets of aluminum foil together , with no quality control -No one would buy this thing at a yard sale for $2

Perfect! I looked forever for a universal lid with no luck. This one is the perfect size, it fits all my frying pans and I love the little steam release holes in it! Would definitely recommend!

Fairly solid lid. I wish the holes were simple holes. Instead they are raised bumps in the metal– this makes cleaning less easy than if it was a flat surface.

Unfortunately didn't cover my larger pan and the top handle was very loose - was able to tighten it but was wobbly. Very lightweight and seemed sort of 'cheap'.
