So far so good
It worked to fill in the gouge on my riding mower fuel tanks. It's now leakproof. Lets see if it lasts until the end of the summer.

Sticks good
Works good to repair plastic fuel tanks. I repaired a 4 inch crack in the tank. Unfortunately, after that repair, I found about 20 other leaks where the plastic is just disintegrating. So, I decided to just replace the tank. The epoxy works as advertised, though.

Easy to use
Easy to use to fix my sled that has a hole in the gas tank. Easy to form. Liked the extra screen for strength. Hoping it holds up good. Used half a stick. Instruction very vague, but simple to use.

PLASTIC GAS TANK REPAIR -COMPLETE FAILURE, PRODUCT NOT AS DESCRIBED
I was looking forward to utilizing this product to repair my plastic gas tank. This product does not work to seal gas leaks. It was so frustrating that the Sealant turned hard without adhering to the tank, fell off in 2 days. Basically, I am still discussed with this product after all the preparation of cleaning and sanding the gas tank to receive complete failure of this product. It is not even a temporary fix, it does not work and was a waste of time, etc. I really want a refund as a long time customer with Amazon regarding this Seller. THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT HOLD NOR SEAL GAS LEAKS IN A PLASTIC TANK! THE PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS STATE IT WILL SEAL WITHOUT EMPTYING THE TANK. THAT IS NOT WITHIN REASON AND INAPPROPRIATE AS A DESCRIPTION. THE PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK AND THAT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE, NOT RESPECTFUL IN TRUTH. THIS PURCHASE HURTS BECAUSE OF THE TIME SPENT TO RECEIVE A GOOD END RESULT WITH A FAILING SEALANT. I HAVE ALL THE PICURES OF GAS POURING FROM THE TANK, etc.

The ability of this epoxy is overstated.
Although the epoxy is stated to bond to polypropylene, (PP) the plastic must be roughed up carefully and deeply to adhere at all! They give you a small piece of sandpaper, which did nothing to roughen the surfaces and tight space. The epoxy had to be applied heavily and did not harden as quickly as stated. It was 3 days before I was able to use the fuel tank, and honestly, I do not trust the strength of the bond.

Drilled a hole in my plastic gas tank to steal gas
aFTER LOOKING AT SEVERAL KIJNDS OF PLASTIC REPAIR, GAS TANK REPAIR MOST NOT MENTIONING EITHER GAS TANKS SO i DECIDED TO GIVE THIS ONE A SHOT. And I am so happy I did. I had some knucklehead drill a hole through both my gas tank shield into the tank itself. 36 gallons of gas....GONE!. I sanded all around the hole and even used a round file to do the inside of the hole. I did this by placing the file into the hole, them pulling it back out of the hole as it was being filed. It has been over a month now with nothing dripping out. I'm putting up a camera to cover the street because a neighbor has had his work van drained a few times out there

Horrible product. I bought a couple of these to fix some cracks in my sons dirt bike tank. I completely drained and cleaned out the tank and prepped the surface area very well. I then followed the instructions and applied the product to the tank. I waited a full day and filled the tank with water and everything seemed good. I then emptied the tank and filled it with gas and again everything seemed good so I was super happy with it. The next day I went out and the tank was dripping and gas was seeping right through the product. If I hadn't used it all I would return it but I am now going to work on removing it and finding another way to fix the tank. Unfortunately I can't find another tank for this bike so I am stuck trying to fix it.

I used this product to repair a 3 inch long crack on a plastic gas tank on a lawn mower. All that I needed was supplied in the repair kit. Repair is know 2 weeks old and the patch is holding so far.

Mixed a piece and used it on a plastic gas tank. Did the prep first. Seems to be holding so far.
