Wolf Tooth Precision-Machined Seatpost Clamp

This seems well made, robust, and sturdy. Although it is 1mm oversized for my Specialized frame, a spare shim from another product allowed a very good, secure fit when tightened to Specialized’s recommended torque setting.

Well-made seat post component/clamp. Does the job with precision. Wolftooth...just sounds and looks cool anyway.

Perfect fit for my Trek Marlin 5 gen3. Good quality, good material, easy to adjust, worth the money.

Better that the rest! I tried several others without success. They were either a touch too small or too big and wouldn’t fit my bike properly. The Wolf Tooth fit perfect and works great. No slippage with this guy and it looks great to match.

I decided to switch from a QR seatpost clamp to the Wolf Tooth Precision-Machined Seatpost Clamp 31.8/32mm as I’ve installed a dropper post. I no longer need the QR clamp to move the seat up & down during my rides. Also, hopefully, this will make it a bit harder for someone looking to get a free dropper post. First off, the clamp looks great. Made in USA. The edges are clean, precise & the finish along w/the logo look awesome. I’m not a “weight weenie”, but for those who are or who are just interested, the 31.8/32mm clamp weighed in at 18g. The stock QR clamp that I removed weighed 52g. I was pretty surprised at the weight difference (on the scale not the trail). The clamp works well & was easy to install. The clamp has a lip on the top edge that rest on the top of the tube, slide in your seat post & then tighten the clamp down. That’s it. I’ve ridden every day for a week, double track, single track & downhill, no slipping, rotation or any other issues w/the clamp. Overall I’m very happy w/the Wolf Tooth Seatpost Clamp. If you’re looking for a new clamp, I can recommend this one. Just be sure to measure the outside diameter of your seatpost to get the correct size. Great seatpost clamp! Put it on my bike to match my other color accents and I've never had to adjust my seatpost once. Have had to think about it since I installed it and hasn't let the seatpost move a millimeter. I ride trails that I'm way underbiked for and I am a heavier rider at 230 lbs so the fact that the clamp hasn't allowed the seatpost to move at all is a testament to how great of a product it is. Weight is next to nothing and a great value for the price. Fit pefectly on my frame and took about 5 seconds to install. Plus it's orange and that's a fun color. 10/10 would orange again.
