Q: Why does the display only say eeeee?

It means that the controller is not able to read temperature and so cannot control. You will need to connect a thermocouple to inputs 6 (-) and 7 (+). Make sure you set the correct sensor type (see Table 1 in the instructions) that corresponds to the type of thermocouple you are using. The most common types are K, J or T.

Q: Does this come with a manual or programming instructions?

Yes, there is an instruction sheet. Not very detailed but includes all the information you would typically need.

Q: Is there a fan controller in this?

No, this is for turning a heating element on and off, not for an electric motor

pid did not work through relay, had to get an external ssr switch, then the damn thing popped. dont buy from this seller
