Great for intro to magic….
Great for a kids first trick or a child just getting into trying magic tricks. Looks exactly like pictured. My kiddo still whips this out of his toy chest every so often or when we have company to show off his trick. Recommend if your in the market :)

Magic show
I purchased these items for my daughter and her friends to use in a talent show. They were easy for young performers to master and impress an audience. However, you needed to hit the magic wand in the exact place for the flower to come out. The magnet on the bottom did come off on one. I decided to simplify things for the children to substitute the magnets with stronger ones. This eliminated the need for them to be extremely accurate in placement of the wand in the little pot holder to engage the flower appearing. The show was a great success for them. With little practice, they were able to master the trick. Everyone was impressed and unaware of how it was done. I would purchase again but gave 4 stars because magnet coming off and strength of the original magnet. However, replacing with the stronger magnet was an easy inexpensive fix using glue to attach a new magnet. Great addition to any magic act. I say buy it. Even with original magnet it’s still worth the purchase.

Great trick poorly executed
My son has a version of this trick made by Melissa and Doug. It’s a super cute trick and very easy for even little kids to pull off. I wanted another kit to give as a gift but it appears the Melissa and Doug version is no longer being manufactured. This was the closest thing I could find. Browsing the photos on Amazon, I wasn’t crazy about the look of it. It has feathers instead of a silk flower and the pot is smaller and not as nice. I was pretty sure the recipient wouldn’t mind since they hadn’t seen the nicer version. Now that the item has arrived, I can report that this kit is indeed much smaller and cheaper looking than the Melissa and Doug version. Honestly, that would be forgivable considering the low price. The reason for my low rating is that the trick doesn’t work! The magnet at the bottom of the flower pot isn’t strong enough to hold the flowers up. They will stick to the pot to pull from the wand and then promptly fall over and out of the pot. The wand is also too long so shoving the delicate feather “flower”all the way back into the wand to get the magnet in place is tricky. Don’t waste your money on this one. Great idea, poor execution.

Talent show approved, Parent approved
My son is Neurodiverse and needed an easy magic trick. He enjoyed showing the appearing flower trick at his very first talent show. He showed confidence, independence, and was very proud. His magic trick was a big hit! 🥰

Red Fingertip Light Illusion
My son recently tried the London Magic Works Red Fingertip Light Illusion, and here’s our personal experience with this fun magic gadget. Pros: Easy to Use: The fingertip lights are simple to operate, making them accessible for beginners and children alike, which adds to the fun without requiring complicated setups. Entertaining Visual Effect: The bright red lights create a captivating illusion that works well in dim or dark environments, perfect for Zoom calls, small gatherings, or casual entertainment. Portable and Lightweight: The pair is small and easy to carry, allowing for spontaneous performances anywhere. Great for Kids: It’s a hit with young children, keeping them engaged and excited during play or virtual meetings. No Complex Electronics: The lights work without magnets, sensors, or remotes, making it a straightforward and reliable magic effect. Cons: Limited Color: The product only comes in red, which might limit variety for those wanting multiple colors or effects. Basic Illusion: While fun, the effect is simple and may not satisfy those looking for more advanced or versatile magic tricks. Visibility Dependent: The light effect is best appreciated in low-light settings; in bright environments, the illusion is less impressive. Summary: The London Magic Works Red Fingertip Light Illusion is a fun, easy-to-use magic accessory that adds a splash of excitement to casual entertainment, especially for kids and beginners. Its portability and simplicity make it ideal for quick, impromptu performances, though the single-color limitation and basic effect mean it’s best suited for lighthearted fun rather than serious magic enthusiasts. Would I recommend it? Yes, for those seeking a simple, entertaining magic prop to amuse children or add flair to small gatherings and online calls.
