Luxo 60001LG A-Edge Mount for Horizontal Surface Mounting, Light Grey

I ordered this Luxo 60001LG A-Edge Mount bracket in light grey for a Luxo Flair (swing arm) Lamp that once belonged to my grandmother. The lamp is easily 50 years old, and she originally had a surface mount bracket that bolted onto a tabletop.I took a bit of a chance in buying this, as I really wasn’t sure if the lamp would fit. Also, I had seen off-brand plastic alternatives which were much cheaper, however, I really wanted something that was all-metal construction due to the weight and age of the lamp.This bracket fit my grandmother’s lamp perfectly! It’s rock solid, with no wobble or fear of breaking. I love the all-metal construction.My only disappointment is the color. The description says it’s light grey, but the photo looks like the taupe color I needed. Turns out that it’s actually light grey as stated.Overall, I am super happy I found a replacement of such high quality from the maker of my grandmother’s lamp. I know she would be equally as pleased :-)

I inherited a 40-year-old, high-quality Luxo task lamp from my grandparents, then promptly lost the original mount bracket. Bought this hoping it would fit, and it does, like a charm. Very pleased I can use the lamp for my art! :)

It fits the vintage lamp perfectly and is as sufficiently solid as the original.

We have recently moved into a new place, and an old Luxo lamp was left behind without a stand. Ordered one off of Amazon, and it fit the lamp without any issues. Have loved these lamps, and was pleasantly surprised to find a replacement.Mounted to my desk, and it does have padding to make sure you don't scratch your desk surface. I ordered the light grey mount, and it was off colour from my lamp, but I didn't mind, as it now is a functioning lamp I can use for my office. (See Image.)
