Better than expected.
I bought this electric cello to be able to practice quietly, and that is exactly what this cello does. It sounds beautifully, it looks great (natural wood look), the electric parts work well and do not make strange noises with the cello's vibration. It took me a while to select it from other online options, watching multiple recommendation videos on youtube. This one was not mentioned in most reviews but those that did gave it good credit. The shipping was difficult; due to Corona, it arrived three weeks later than expected, but after contacting the seller, things went smoothly. The only low light is the bow: Other reviews mention it too: the bow looks, feels, and is cheap. I use the bow of my regular cello, and it works fine.As I am not a typical cellist but started really late in life and will never perform, this purchase is the best decision I could make. The cello is so lean and thin, I could take take it anywhere, play outside, not bother anyone.I can only recommend it.

Excellent electronic and acoustic sounds, great for silent practice and compact design for travel.
I’ve had my cello for a couple of weeks now and am absolutely loving it! It sounds great processed through all my pedals and effects and you can easily eliminate the acoustic sound if you want a purely processed signal. But it can also simulate a warm, acoustic cello sound especially with a good mixer or equalizer pedal. Good volume through an amp, an inexpensive boost pedal helps if you need a lot of volume with an unprocessed signal. This is a great option for people who want to record or practice with privacy as the sound can barely be heard by others if it’s played through head phones. The leg and chest supports remove very easily so it breaks down small and convenient for travel. Delivery took about a month longer than expected but this was because customs took a long time and was not the seller’s fault.

Instrument is working well, electronics sound decent. Company did well to address potential problems and I am impressed with how well it was packaged for its delivery.

Good sound, poor quality product
This cello was delivered to me in January of 2020. I really liked it, the sound was of good quality. Now here I set less than a year later with a broken cello, not just a little broken, but completely broken. It has only been played maybe 10 times. It is clear that the tension from the strings has caused the neck to break, I have never had this happen with an instrument. I sent an email to the company a few days ago and have still not heard back. Needless to say, I am very disappointed.

Great cello for beginners and price
Took this into a cello shop upon arrival and was told great cello for the price. No repair work or replcement parts to get it ready to play. Sound is great, workmanship is good.

Fun! Great customer service.
This is a fun Christmas gift for my kids. The quality is adequate and I had problem with a string but the company emailed me back instantly and replaced the string. Great customer service and a fun gift for young kids.

AMAZING CELLO FOR THE COST
I have a standard cello but needed an electric cello for a recording project. I tried a couple popular name brand cellos at the local music store but $3000 was out of my price range. I researched the good and the bad and did not find much on Leeche instruments. I contacted the owner and found they have a company in China and mostly sell to local distributers. The cello I ordered took forever to arrive and unfortunately arrived too late for my project but due to Covid the delay was understandable. I feared I would receive a spruce 2X4 with some strings nailed on and an unplayable action height. Wow was I surprised!!!!!!! I am more of a guitarist than a cellist but I do know a quality instrument when I see and play it. The instrument was well packed and everything was included as advertised. The finish was amazing, buffed up to a glossy $4000 Gibson finish, much better than it looks in the ad . My biggest worry was playability and again I was impressed. I figured I would have to tweak the bridge but it was perfect. I tuned it up and the C was about 5-6mm off the neck and the A about 4mm. As for the electronics I have a few guitars with the same style pickup and it works great as well. If you want to try an electric cello for under $1000 I would not hesitate, THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL WELL MADE INSTRUMENT.
