Bad experience: Don't buy unless your router is just next to your computer.
Summary: Bad signal reception.Description: Super small, simply plug the usb and it's easy to install and setup.Experience: While it has a perfect size, this device doesn't have enough capability to pick up signal. It advertises that it picks a range of 50-100m (indoors). My router is located less than 30 ft away from the computer which is around 9 meters away. Still the device will pick a a single bar of the signal and by consequence giving a terrible internet experience/connection. The router is certainly not the problem, as all the devices at home are connected to it without any issues and with almost a perfect signal. This device is simply very bad.Recommendation: Stay away from this, don't buy unless your router is just next to your computer.

Cheap and tiny, better than fixing the internal Wifi!
My daughter's old laptop got upgraded to Win10, and the drivers for the internal wireless went nuts. I couldn't get them to work no matter what I tried. I wish I had found this before wasting hours trying to get that working! This is so inexpensive and so tiny, you forget it is even there. It worked out of the box, no additional drivers required. And it might be my imagination, but I think the range and signal is better than the internal one used to be so I don't even miss the internal WiFi at all. If you're struggling to get a computer on your wireless network, don't sweat it. Just buy this and forget about it.

Helped me "cut the cord"
I wanted to "cut the cord" and turn an old Windows 7 computer into a media center, and this little gizmo made it possible. My OTA antenna wires and internet feed come into my home on opposite walls, and I just wasn't going to crawl under my house to try to change that. My antenna is hooked directly into my computer via a tuner card. The wifi adapter makes it possible to watch Netflix, listen to Pandora and I-Heart-Radio, even surf the web if I want, all from the comfort of my couch.

These worked great. I came on to find cords to connect the pcs to the router, but I saw these and decided to try them. My husband was skeptical, but they worked right away and I haven't had a bit of problems with either of the two I bought. The kids use them on their school computers, so they are online for hours at a time almost every weekday. Video chats and online conferencing daily.

Very disappointed.
This has not been a positive experience with this item. It took forever to download the drivers because a Mac does not have the capability to use a mini-cd and every download was in Chinese. Then, it has crashed my computers more times than I want to admit. It seems that if I have anymore than 6 tabs open at once, it gets overloaded and crashes the entire computer system. Very disappointed.

Be aware: driver hard to find.
Didn't work for me. Windows 7 could not find a driver and the mini cd is not readable by any of the systems that I have. A search on the internet found sites in china that seemed to have drivers available, but none of the downloads worked. My experience is similar to that reported by tntowne a few days ago. I should have taken that review more seriously. If you are going to try this, make sure you have a way to read mini cds. At least it was cheap.

This little wireless fob works rather well for its diminutive size..barely sticks out, so fine to leave in all the time -- gets a decent signal & speed, tho haven't tried over long range..only used within about 10~30 ft of router.
