Clarus Faceted Unbreakable Tritan Plastic Juice Glass - 10 Oz.

I have small children and a growing family, and I was looking for a basic cup that was safe for my family, dishwasher safe and easy for young kids to grip. Safe meant I wanted something BPA free (at a minimum). This cup is made from Tritan co-polyester, which is an excellent plastic that was designed from the ground up by the Eastman company to release no endocrine disrupting compounds and they've published some pretty good science to back it up. Now if this is something you really care about (perhaps like me you have small children or your wife is pregnant or trying to get pregnant) be aware that if you torture this plastic, it will release compounds with a potential for estrogenic or androgenic activity. But for normal use it's about as safe as a plastic can get.Tritan is pretty heat resistant and in theory it's "bottom-rack dishwasher safe." That being said, I keep mine in the top rack both for safety and to keep it looking new.Now the price for these cups can be pretty crazy, and paying $10 for a kids cup is silly. I did find by trial-and-error that some of the sellers have reasonable shipping fees for buying multiple cups, so I ended up paying about $3.75 per cup after shipping.

Yes, these are good for juice glasses, but they are seriously on 9 oz.; and that is to the brim of this glass. If you want a smaller glass, these will work well for kids or little wives........These are very nicely made and can recommend them to anyone if a small unbreakable glass is wanted.

Reorder for me. We use this for disabled individual who has difficulty holding smooth surfaces. These glasses are easy to hold and don't break when dropped. Great in dishwasher top shelf. I do recommend for children and/or adults with weak grip.

Great to rinse your mouth, no worries for kids to use them in the bathroom.

What can I say other than they are great. Like the old glass water glasses but of tough plastic. I will need to add this fluff to come up to minimum words required for a review.
