It' great!
Like the last review, we also bought "Veggie wash" at Trader Joe's, and i think they've cut it off in all stores. it's true that the bottles in TJ's would often be dusty from sitting so long, so i do understand, but the problem was with the BUYERS, not the product. it's great, and i know we feel much better every time we use it. We still have the spray bottle from TJ's, and we will pour this in there, dilute it with water (about 3:1, though I'm sure the directions allow much more), and spray it from there.I don't know about the foaming veggie wash, but i would like to hear from someone who has tried both. i am certain that you can't go wrong with this. Like someone said on the foaming review, you'll be shocked with the amount of dirt/grunge that comes off of fruits and veggies you wash with this. water just won't do it, plus, when you read the ingredients of the veggie wash here you won't be concerned- they are just light natural surfactants (soapy oil-breakers), and you don't need to feel bad about anything in there. We've used it for over five years and we won't go a day without it. We keep it by the sink and use it as a spray and wash for our hands as well.

Works, but has a soap odor.
Seems to work fine and does the job, but has a soap smell. I wonder if that odor means there is something toxic in the product. Since it off carefully.

Best fruit and veggie wash
We've been using Environne for years, first purchased it at Trader Joe's and then found it on Amazon after TJ's stopped carrying it. I bought the pack of 6 two years ago, gave one bottle away, and we are on our 2nd to last bottle. It lasts a long time! We buy fresh produce every week and use it to wash everything. We've tried other veggie washes, but none of them work as well as this one. I use it like dish soap - squirt some in the sink and fill with water, then wash everything off. It is amazing how much dirt and crud comes off - especially apples and grapes - no more weird white residue on my red and black grapes.

A little goes a long way
First time using any veggie wash after my mother's friend recommended. I was skeptical at first. I thought it was enough to rinse under a running tap or soak in a clean sink, but now after using this wash, I can see "and feel" and more importantly -- taste the difference. I tried a comparison experiment, rinsing veggies first, examining the water, THEN rinsing again with the wash...it was clear to me the wash found more dirt. Yuck I was eating that much crud before?! Yikes! Small downside: The wash comes out of the bottle fast, so I transferred to a spray bottle. A little goes a long way. Upside: Real taste of fruits and veggies! And way clean! I am really a convert now to a veggie cleanser.

Best Veggie Wash
I've also been using this wash for fruits and veggies for many years. I mostly buy organic produce and use it to wash off the bacteria. I have found that by using this product my fruits (not berries, you need to eat them immediately) and veggies I am able to store them a really long time in my refrigerator, much longer than before I used veggie wash. Bacteria on food is what causes it to rot, so by eliminating not only the pesticides and waxes, etc. I get rid of the real problem of wasting food! This stuff makes me feel good about eating healthy fresh food! The price is also economical when you can purchase in bulk like this. Love Love it!

Enviroone, one of the best
Have been using Environne for quite a while. Been purchasing it from Trader Joe's, but they have discontinued it at our local store in Roseville. This product is soooooo good and easy to use. Just a little goes a long way. For grapes, lettuce etc. when washing, just put a little in the water and swish around, rinse and ready to cook/serve. For fruit such as apples, pears, etc. just put a little in your hand and rub then rinse. It sure takes a lot off of your mind to know that your veg/fruits are clean of any bugs, spray etc.Was so pleased that Amazon now has it, and the price is GREAT!!!
