Archery Thumb Ring - Victory Black - Protective Gear for Thumb Draw in Traditional Archery

This is a good ring. K owing your size is very important. The ring fits perfectly and has a snappy release. Do recommend this ring. I did see the reviews and not all of them are good. But like anything that is produced like these I’m sure that a bad one gets through now an again. But this is worth trying.Currently I have about 2000 arrows off this ring with no trouble at all. I do recommend if you have never used one look up some videos on how to use them. It is simple enough. But if you are new to it knowing how to place it on the string makes all the difference between pain when you shoot and making good shots.

A well made product, BUT the sales page should explain how to choose the correct size. Sizing has nothing to do with ring sizes, you need to measure the width of your thumb knuckle IN MILLIMETERS.

Nice quality thumb ring, but did not fit ( to small ) , however I was able to open it up so I can use it.

I have a brass vermil victory, very nice but got a little too small so bought this one size larger resin ring due to fast shipping. It looked flimsy and thin comparing to the brass one but I gave it a try. 2 weeks and probably a few hundred shots later it's cracked. Bow used range from 30lb to 40lb.

Amazing ring overall. Great release, great fit around the thumb, and less pain compared to other ring designs. I measured my dominant hand thumb with tape and calipe as per instructions and I had to return two rings before finally finding a good fit. It could be my faulty measurements but in my experience the fit was two sizes smaller than it should be.

Ring was delivered quicker than expected. Fit is excellent, interior shape prevents twist and shifting. Use was actually very intuititve. I was concerned about the shape compared to the brass ring i have been using. No worries, in fact after a few shots my groups were tighter and more consistent.Ring is comfortable for ~100 shots at 30 pounds. I would consider a metal or horn ring for heavier poundage.

Started with the Classic and liked it enough to give the Victory a try. I've been using it for several months and it's still the main ring that I use for my ~40# bows. The one I got is slightly bigger but I found that gluing in a piece of leather in the ring helps with with making it snug and reduces slipping off. Probably will be going for the metal victory in the future.

I am on my 3rd ring from Vermil. The first was too large (not the manufacturer's fault.) The smaller replacement I was shipped *shattered* the first time I used it. Then the original one cracked on the side (I was able to use it with a leather shim until then).The replacement fits and has not exploded yet after about 100 releases. Keeping my fingers crossed, so to speak, but I will probably replace it with a metal ring once I am positive the size is correct.
