My last steam cleaner took a crap so after researching, and researching some more, I settled on this one. It is not really settling however, since this is a great machine.Ready to go once you connect the parts and fill it.Love the fact it comes with a funnel: accurate pouring and no more spilling water all over the place while filling!Has a relatively large tank, and since it says in the included guide that it'll run continuous steam for about 15 minutes, I tested that and yeah, it's pretty exact, depending on how high you have the dial. It's been my experience though, that less is more with steam since the point is to dry quickly.It gets plenty hot enough, so I am sure it is sanitizing the surface as well as cleaning it.The handle DOES extend to allow for taller people to use this comfortably. I am not a tall person, 5'3" to be precise, so one click up is basically all I need.Comes with two (2) washable mop heads (hooray!) that affix with Velcro strips that are nice and strong and do not lose holding power with the extended use of the steam.Absolutely love the carpet glider, which is the main reason I purchased this product. I have carpet runners and otherwise all hard wood floors, and it works amazingly well with the rugs. Attach the glider and there ya go. Only complaint I have about the glider, is this: it becomes separated from the base quite often, mainly in the back, so I have to readjust and reattach, which becomes a slight irritation. It's as if the clips for the back are too short.My other complaint is that I DID NOT GET THE GARMENT STEAMER ATTACHMENT! I received the garment steamer attachment COVER but no tool. Therefore I cannot steam my nice dressy shirts and now I have to break out my ironing board and iron and get the wrinkles out the old fashioned way.The only smell I have noticed is the smell of the item being steamed as it's being cleaned: the floors. I have 2 large dogs and the steam generated a slight doggy smell as it cleaned the floors and carpets, but it dissipates quickly so no big deal there.My stairs: yeah, the smell of them is lingering. However, people lived in my house before I moved in and also had a dog. And they weren't the most, how should I say it, sophisticated people on the planet. Henceforth another reason I wanted the steamer! Nothing a little disinfecting spray won't take care of though.It is very simply to assemble, fill and use. The cord is nice and long and I seriously only had to switch outlets once, and that includes going upstairs and throughout the entire downstairs, and I have some large rooms.I have not, and will not, used detergent, but that is what the press button is for. I also refuse to buy special water, so if my unit gets clogged, I have no one but myself to blame, and I'll soak the nozzle portion in CLR or something.All in all, YES I recommend this product. Just make sure you get ALL the attachments!!!

Works very well. The brush attachments don't really last more than one use so I wouldn't recommend this if that what you're primarily gonna use it for but other than that it works very well with the other attachments .

Cleaning Ceramic Tiles:This does a great job cleaning my ceramic Floors. Dries quickly. I give Floor Cleaning FIVE stars.Cleaning Kitchen and Bathroom Grout :OMG, what can I say. I finally have my light grey grout back. The Grout attachment is so cheap and constantly turns. I found the attachment to be a pain in my butt. I give Grout cleaning FIVE star and the Attachment a ZERO.Removing Wrinkles from Curtains:This garment steamer got my new curtains looking great by steaming out the wrinkles. I give Curtain Steaming FIVE stars.The Attachment Pieces are HORRIBLE. They keep turning when attached.I give the Attachment pieces ZERO stars (EXCEPT for the Garment/Squeezy Attachments. They work without any issues).The steam on full blast is great at first. The steam is strong "BUT" it loses steam output on High. The steam output goes down to a medium or low steam then it goes back to a High steam output. Not sure if this is how the steamer is suppose to work. I want HIGH steam output at ALL TIMES when the steamer is set to the highest adjustment. This steamer doesn't continuously output HIGH steam when adjusted to the highest output.I give the output for steam THREE stars.Overall, I will keep this steamer. If you want this steamer to clean your Floors, your Grout and to remove Wrinkles, this STEAMER is great. The company needs to get better attachments that will NOT constantly turn. I know they read these reviews because someone suggested adding a funnel/cup to make it easier to add the water to the steamer and the company now sends a funnel and cup with this steamer.

The cleaning power exceeds expectations. Each use has been great because of its multipurpose functions. My floors look great and dried quickly. I was able to reach most spots in one cleaning session because of the cord length. Steamed my clothes & cleaned my sofa. Left my house smelling good for days. I love this product especially because of the value for money.
