Dell SE2419Hx 23.8" IPS Full HD (1920x1080) Monitor,Black

I am not gaming or doing graphic work, so I'm not getting into details of screen focus or graphics details. The colors are bright and good and the clarity is fine. I gave picture quality 4 stars only because I'm used to glass screen and I haven't used this screen for any movies, etc. Can't say it's perfect, and again, I'm used to a higher quality screen. Nice thin streamlined style and size. Very pleasing aesthetically. And since it's just for paperwork, I can't comment about watching movies on it or gaming, but pleased so far as is and really happy with its overall look, design and stability. Good screen size for a few document windows open. I needed this as a second screen for document work. I am also not a PC person and so did a lot of reviewing for other screens to be sure. I am very happy so far. It hooked up to Mac computer very easily with purchase of Thunderbolt to HDMI cord. My Mac computer is about 5 years old, so I needed that adapter (Can buy approx. $5 and up. I only spent $8 on my adapter). It will depend on what you are hooking this screen up to if or what you might need. The main thing is I could not spend a lot of money, but didn't want uber cheap product. Pretty much I stuck with Dell for screen brand right from beginning. Trying to stay under $150. It is great screen for the price. The base looks nice and is Stable! I only paid about $130 for this screen and it is worth it. There are screens cost less, but spending an extra $20-$30 on this was a good decision and I almost spent $40 more on different model, but glad I went back to this model. It's a good screen in this price range and for what I need it for. There were many screens within the $100-$200 range and I am glad I backed down from a more expensive one to this one. Also this is a more recent model than some others in similar price range. Nice Screen!

Pros: cheep, high quality, super close to edge to edge screen, good screen quality, easy to set up, and durable.Cons: can’t find any.I’ve put this review off for about a month now. I wanted to see how long it would last without problems. As to give the best review I could, and after a month and one clumsy accident and it has not given me a single problem. Every day I walk in my room and see it, it looks like a brand new monitor (even though I kinda is) sense the day I got it it has kept its new look and feel. And for the price, what a deal. Best budget friendly monitor on amazon or eBay

I ordered this monitor to replace a 13 year old Dell monitor that finally died out. I thought 13 years is a good track record, so decided to stick with the Dell brand, and I'm glad I did. This desktop monitor is light weight and produces a really clear, crisp display. It was delivered 2 days earlier than expected. Very happy I purchased it. NOTE TO AMAZON: When the monitor was delivered, I noticed one of the tape seals was cut. When I opened the box, it was clear someone opened that end and took out the VGA cable which was supposed to be included. No problem on my end, as I just used the HDMI cable - also included- to get it up and running, But thought you may want to know.

I was looking for a 24 inch monitor for my WFH setup and evaluated and compared several brands but this one stood out, mainly for 2 reasons -1. Eye-friendly flicker free screen2. Very small footprint - the stand takes up very little space on my table. I'd say this feature beat out a couple of other very comparable monitorsOther highlights (after 2 weeks of usage)- Vertical Viewing angle is adjustable (albeit to a small degree)- Super easy setup - was able to unbox, assemble and set it up in 10 minutes- No glare - The screen does not have a reflective surface. Also, the brightness can be sufficiently reduced to avoid stressing the eyes- Comes with a pretty long HDMI connector

I had an older Dell 20" HD monitor and because I use my desktop so much, I wanted a larger and better quality monitor. My older 20" widescreen was from 2012 so I figured the picture quality on this had to be a lot better; it's not. It's about the same. This is clearly and "everyday use" monitor. I agree with another reviewer. The image is not all that sharp. But at this price point, I think the monitor is fine for everyday use. This monitor eliminates the old video cable and uses the HDMI instead. It does come with an HDMI cable. I am irritated by one minor factor. I noticed when I put the stand into the monitor that the monitor is ever so slightly off balance. This clearly is a quality control issue! Ugh. The screen tilts a fraction and there is absolutely nothing I can do to correct it. If I try to "bend" the base the plastic stand arm will surely break off. Probably not worth sending back, but a sign that quality control at Dell has slipped.

With COVI-19 this is the perfect monitor for working from home! I read the reviews and was sold. I only have a laptop so I hooked the nearly 24" screen to that and purchased a separate keyboard so its like I have a desktop now! Very easy as it comes with an HDMI cord. I need to view two calendars so I can do so with the wide screen. I have a dell laptop. it was easy to add - just remember to push the button underneath the monitor upon first use to get it started in addition to the the power button - save you a bunch of time rather than going thru a bunch of You-tube videos of why your computer doesn't recognize the monitor LOL!

I purchased this monitor last week and arrived early. I have to say I am very happy with it. No tools were required to connect the stand to the monitor. It came with an HDMI cable. I spent more time searching for a surge protector than setting it up.When I first connected the monitor to my Windows 10 laptop, the image didn't completely fill the entire 24 inch screen. I panicked. Then I figured I needed to adjust the graphics setting and voila! It worked.The monitor does what I need it to do which is for work only. I will only use it for writing reports/ emails and spreadsheets. So it’s good enough for my needs.
