Very happy with this set. It's super soft and comfortable and arrived really quickly. I was a little concerned it may be too hot (or even too cold!) as I've never had bamboo bedding before, but it's perfect for me and my partner. The fabric has a slight sheen, like satin. The duvet cover seems quite a bit bigger than a double that I ordered, so there is some loose fabric. I am hoping this is to allow for any shrinkage.

Unbelievably soft and silky. Nice plain set with only small detail on end of pillows so unisex.Have only had on a few days so not washed yet. Will be washing on own at very low temperature as I don't want to risk ruining them they are so nice!

I chose this set over the equivalent Dorma 500 threadcount cotton - about the same price. I am now regretting my choice. there are pro's and con's. I was so pleased when it arrived. The fabric is similar to handle to a fine, rayon viscose: soft and silky feeling with a slight satiny sheen. I put it on my bed and it draped beautifully, so I straight away ordered a second set. The first night that I used it, we had minus temperatures and I settled down to sleep straight away, as it was instantly warm and cosy. I awoke twice in the night, desperately hot. The second night, I changed to the summer weight duvet. It was lovely at first, but then far too hot in the night its hard to believe with such a lightweight fabric. If you are a very cold soul, then it could be perfect for you. I note that some reviews have said that it is cool to sleep in (in hot weather) so it may just be that it somehow adjusts. Many manufacturers make that claim of 'adjusts to your body temperature', but i have never found it to be true.The main problem, however, is that after 2 washes (30 degrees, delicates cycle, followed by a line dry) all items in the set have shrunk, Quite considerably. Clearly the fabric was not pre-shrunk before manufacture. This means that the pillowslips are now far too small to fit my pillows and one of the duvet covers is a little bunched up when fitted. giving an example: the pillowslips, when received measured 73 x 49 cms. after 2 washes, they had shrunk to 70 x 47 cms, just too small to fit the pillow neatly any more, so. I won't be using them. I am very disappointed. they were not cheap, even at the reduced price. I expected better. I must say that they iron up beautifully though. If only the retailer could persuade the manufacturer to pre-shrink the fabric before making them up. I have decided to cut them down myself, to use on a child's cot bed,so they won't be completely wasted. I feel miffed that I now have to pay out for at least 1 Dorma set to replace them!

We have been using our new 100% bamboo sheets for almost a week now and we are very pleased with them. They are very cool to the touch but warm up very quickly. When you wake up feeling too warm, just a slight body adjustment takes you to the cool part of the sheets! They are incredibly soft and silky and have washed well.I wish they came in different colours too.....as much as I love the gorgeousness of pure white - its not ideal when you have a muck-magnet dog :)
