I was looking for a pirate costume for my daughter for a Disney Cruise, but did not want to spend a lot of money since this might only be worn once. We hit a homerun with this costume. Not only is it very cute (my daughter says she wants to wear it for Halloween now too), but it is decent quality. I was glad I read the reviews and sizing chart because I needed to order my 9 year old daughter (who typically wears a girls medium or size 8) an XXL. It fit her perfectly! I highly recommend this costume.

The dress is cute. The listing said had a hat and sword but only received the dress. The cart said dress only but I did not notice that before paying or receiving it. You need to correct the listing to "Dress only" throughout the description. Deceiving.

This dress fit my 5 year old perfectly. She wore it for pirates day at school. She is the tallest in her class so you may consider sizing down if your child is not an early grower.

My daughter wore this is her pirate play.. She did great. She is 8 years old and weighs about 57 lbs if that helps. We got the 8 to 10 size
